This beautifully scaled French Tudor built in the 1920’s is on a point that pushes out into the Long Island Sound. A sporty, boating, American family with an appreciation for elegance was looking for a modest home close to the harbor.
They fell in love! Although not modest, the location offered the opportunity to put in your own dock, which proved irresistible! First it was just going to be a summer home but the location was too seductive not to enjoy year round. A major renovation ensued with the goal to keep the original integrity of the house intact and add, high-tech conveniences, a pool and a pool house, a pickle ball court and a dock! Although they travel and sail the globe with enthusiasm, this is now home base!
